At Enliven Therapy, we understand that mental health begins at birth and plays a crucial role in a child’s overall development. Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) focuses on the emotional, social, and developmental well-being of children from birth to age five, laying the foundation for lifelong mental health. Early experiences and relationships shape brain development, making timely support crucial for addressing challenges like attachment difficulties, behavioral concerns, and trauma. Our therapists have received specialized training in this area—one of the few practices in the southern part of Alabama—allowing us to provide expert, developmentally appropriate care to support young children and their families.
